Buffalo Chicken Dip
With the Super Bowl right around the corner I thought I’d share my favorite appetizer for the big game, buffalo chicken dip. This is my go to recipe for any get together that has appetizer type foods, especially the Super Bowl. It is so easy to make and always a crowd pleaser. It is my absolute favorite dish for the game.
I love this recipe because it’s not to hot or spicy compared to a lot of the buffalo chicken dip recipes I’ve tried. It has the perfect amount of heat, at least for me;) I don’t like for my mouth to be on fire while I’m trying to eat anything. So, if you’re like that too then I think you will love this recipe.
- 2 cups shredded chicken (you can use canned)
- 1 8oz package cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup Hot Sauce ( I like Franks Red Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce)
- 3/4 cup mild cheddar cheese, plus additional 1/4 cup for top
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
Mix all ingredients together and put in 8×8 baking dish, top with more shredded cheddar cheese. Place in preheated 350 degree oven for about 20-25 minutes.
Grab some tortilla chips and ENJOY!
