Welcome! I’m glad you stopped by. Today is Part 1 of my 2 Part home office reveal. I had been in need of an office for a while. So my husband decided to build me one in part of our unfinished basement (all his idea, thanks honey!). It probably took about 9 months to finish, we were not in a hurry to get it done and he did everything himself. So without further ado….
This is when you come in the door to the office. The doors you see in this picture lead to the other side of the unfinished basement. The walls are painted an aqua color, that I am really loving right now. I wanted white trim and book shelves.
The book shelves are my favorite. I have so many plans for them.
I really wanted a corner desk to have enough space to work and have everything I needed on the desk top. We purchased this Sauder Harbor View corner desk in antique white. They have them on Amazon in this color and a few other colors too. I must say I do love this desk. They also have a hutch you can purchase too, I might consider doing that if I think it would work for me.
A closer view of what the desk looks like. 🙂 I didn’t realize it had a wood grain type look to it when I ordered it, but I like it now.
Above the desk he boxed in our duct for our heating system.
And, lastly here is the door that leads to the other finished side of the basement.
And that’s my undecorated office. If you have made it this far I hope you will check back for Part 2. I hope to have it ready to reveal soon. Have a blessed day!
